That's right step up to the plate ! Are you happy with the way things are going in this country or the world ? Do you think that it's ok that are young men and women are deployed to the middle east ?Are you happy paying upwards of $3.00 in california at the time of this writing per gallon of gas? Do you think that it's right. I'll tell you something my friend and I'll apologize in advance for the friend of a friend story but it's true. I lived in San Ramon California (headquarters to CHEVRON)for 5 years and one of my neighbors was friends with an executive at Chevron. When he asked the gentleman why gas prices where so high , his response was... because we will pay it. My Friend was completely flabbergasted but the man was right . We live in a market driven society based on competition for your hard earned dollars . Not to mention that increased gas prices result in inflated prices for all the other good and services you buy everyday , from increased shipping and transportation cost that you are forced to absorb. As long as we are wasting gas and not competively shopping for the best price in town .... we have no one to blame but ourselves. Is it so big a problem that we cant do anything about it? Hardly,and you have already taken the first step by reading this webpage. So I'm challenging to take this to heart and take this information and make it your goal to cut your gas bill by 25% , it's doable.. actually it's pretty easy and then go out there and share your success with your friends ,coworkers and your family. Talk it up ......badger cajole and harass E'm EDUCATE THEM until they start saving . Wasting gas is dec idly unpatriotic after all. If you are in the market for a new car , consider one of those new hybrid's or consider fuel economy as part of your buying decision. If your friends or coworkers are complaining about the cost of gas , send them to this website and invite them to be a part of the solution. Share this site with everyone you know and I guarantee you that things will improve . If we don't then it's going to get allot worst in the coming years, as asia's economy begin's to take off and we face greater competition for oil resources. The choice is yours do nothing and experience more of the same or take a positive stance and know that you are doing your part and playing an active role in your future.
